Giving back

The charities we support at FaceTill

charity hands

At FaceTill, giving back is a core part of who we are. We’re dedicated to making a positive impact in our communities, and one way we do that is by supporting charitable organizations that align with our values.

When it came to selecting the charities we wanted to support, we took the time to do our research.

We sifted through hundreds of organizations, making sure that they were registered and operating effectively by verifying them with the charity regulator. Our goal was to find the smaller, lesser-known charities that are doing amazing work and making a big impact, even if they may not have as much recognition or funding.

We believe that less-prominent charities often work tirelessly towards their cause but don’t always receive the recognition they deserve. By supporting these organizations, we hope to not only contribute to their meaningful work but also raise awareness about their important causes and encourage others to get involved.

Below you’ll find information about the inspiring organizations we work with and the amazing work they do.

Children

We are the BBC’s charity and our mission is to help ensure every child in the UK is safe, happy, secure and has the opportunities they need to reach their potential. We work closely with a whole range of organisations so we can understand where the need is greatest, ensuring the money you raise goes to supporting the young people that need us most.

We fund over 3,900 local charities and projects which directly support children and young people in communities right across the UK.

We support children and young affected by a whole range of disadvantages such as poverty, disability, illness, distress or trauma.  We also work with a range of partners to tackle some of the most pressing issues facing the UK’s children and young people today, including: mental health and wellbeing, violence impacting young people, child sexual exploitation, holiday hunger; access to employment, and social injustice. We raise money throughout the year to fund the local charities and projects we support.  The focus of our fundraising is our annual November appeal. From epic challenges featuring famous faces alongside children we support, to special programmes and our annual Appeal Show; the BBC helps us raise a phenomenal amount of money each year.

Across the nations, fundraisers from all walks of life come together to support us – from marathons to cake sales, to school events and our brilliant corporate partners – every sponsor, every pair of ears bought, every pound popped in a bucket helps change lives.

Animals

Every hour, someone in the UK starts to lose their sight.  Help us make sure they don’t lose out on life by making a donation today. Guide Dogs is here to help the two million people living with sight loss in the UK, live the life they choose. We provide a range of services with and beyond the dog to help people with sight loss live actively, independently and well. Children and adults. Friends and family. Our expert staff, volunteers and life-changing dogs are here to help people affected by sight loss live actively, independently and well.

Founded in 1934, we are a charity that is almost entirely dependent on donations.

Environment

Creating new woodland is at the heart of what we do. We mobilise communities, landowners and volunteers to get trees in the ground, and aim to plant a tree for every person in the UK. We plant woods and trees to combat climate change, build a greener future for the UK and create havens for wildlife. We save woods and trees from decimation. We stand against needless destruction and lead the fight against tree pests and diseases.

We bring damaged ancient woods back to life. We restore these irreplaceable ecosystems before they are lost forever.
